ANIMAL MINISTRY

A proud doggy mom of her two Maltese mixes, Lucy and Rhonda,
Rev. Peluso has been involved with canine rescue since 1998. She
was a founding member of Metropolitan Maltese Rescue and
remains active in the online discussion list, AngelsWork2000.
Having supported many friends as they have struggled with pet
illnesses and loss, and losing her own beloved Maltese, The
Divine Miss L, Rev. Peluso understands the deep love people have
for their companion animals and how difficult it can be to watch
them suffer. She offers prayers for recovery and transition, and
support to help humans get through the grieving process when
their loved ones make their transition to the Rainbow Bridge.

On a happier note, Rev. Peluso has participated in animal
blessings with The Community of Peace and Spirituality. She
creates blessings and ceremonies to celebrate pet adoptions,
birthday, and other life-cycle celebrations for animals. “I’ll even
officiate at pet weddings!” she says.
